FYI I’m not a certified soilfoodweb.com (Dr. Elaine’s soilfoodweb school) consultant. I considered doing their program after I successfully completed their fundamental courses and Certified Lab Program, however it didn’t meet some fundamental needs I have as a student/professional. Basically I didn’t see the ROI (return on investment) once I successful produced my own BioComplete(tm) compost, tea and extract. I say this for a few reasons but mainly because they advertise my lab based on my Lab certification through them and sometimes their website misleads people to think I’m a consultant.
Through their fundamental courses I learned all the details of soil/compost biology and how to make and leverage BioComplete(tm) compost (extract/tea). The biggest gift is to know what feeds and what kills bacteria, protozoa, fungi and nematodes and what happens with soils/compost that doesn’t have all these in large enough quantity. I hope in the future this will be basic knowledge in primary schools and in the minds of parents. It blows my mind that it’s not taught in ag departments or at the very least in community colleges. However, many common sense things are not taught in many public/private schools due to our current economic and political situation.
I offer my Coach/Consultant service based on the 25+ years of growing and composting, living and working on about 30 organic farms over the past 20yrs (pastures, chickens, goats, pigs, cows, market garden builds, making compost (small/large), compost tea and extract, feeding biology what is needs, making/inoculating/applying biochar…). I only stayed for two weeks at some and 2.5yrs on one and 2yrs on another. I also went deep into the biological details of my own farm/garden projects (BioComplete(tm) compost making, extract, tea, chickens on deep biological mulch/compost bedding, food forests gardens, design/built no till market garden (veg/herb), biological veg/herb/perennials nursery plants, lawns/pasture, design/build climate battery greenhouse, various active and passive greenhouses, applying permaculture (2006 Certification from), master gardener cert. from Maricopa County, AZ ASU Extention…).
I’m a technical person at heart and got my beginning at a very early age (16) working in Electronics/Software engineering labs. Let that world go after about 20yrs when I was looking for a more effective/natural/interesting/connected way to contribute to my health, the world and local community health. The deeper I got into plants, soil and compost the more it pulled me into wanting to understanding how to grow with nature with natural/effective abundance and balanced stewardship. I have been blessed and in deep gratitude with getting real world experience first in my fathers woodworking shop which gave me a strong interest in searching out the correct tool for the job and then living and working on many organic farms (AZ, CA, CO, NC, SC, TN and Florida for 5yrs), my own personal/business projects and learning from Dr. Elaine Ingham, Dr. David White (rhizophagy cycle and endophytic microbes in plants), John Kempf (AEA), Gabe Brown (regen), Greg Judy (regen), Joel Salatin (polyface farm) and many many others.
My rates range from $30-90 per hr depending on your needs. I can give you about 30min to 1hr free depending on my schedule. I’m not for everyone nor is everyone for me so no worries if you call and we aren’t a good fit for each other. I like people in general so don’t fear any to reach out and say hi.
